Why Kwantas stands to gain?

1) As ringgit has crashed against US dollar all importation of catepillar, farm equipment will be prohibitive. So it is cheaper to buy existing plantations from Kuantas than to plant new ones.

2) Another reason is from the complaint from European nations. The cutting of newer forests will affect the orang hutan population in Sabah. So new deforestation is discouraged. Indonesia has banned further deforestation now.
So with more demand exceeds supply Land Prices of existing Oil Palm plantations can only go up

3) Kwantas has quarry lands which will also benefit from the up coming Pan Borneo Highway.

These are some other favourable factors for Kwantas
