in our company, we have a few young chaps. they always complain about no money, but look at the things they buy - Iphone, Honda car, etc. Even eat regularly at expensive Papparich instead of cheap coffee shops.
The writer can pay back housing loan, credit cards, BUT cannot pay back PTPTN? WTF! Why take advantage of PTPTN? Cos PTPTN is soft compared to banks! This is something PH must change!!
there are A LOT of youngsters these days who whine and whine non-stop about having no money but when you look at their lifestyle, they live in luxury! they dont drive proton or perodua, they drive Honda, Toyota, Nissan. they dont use <rm1k phones, they use Iphone or high end phones they dont eat at coffee shops, they eat at Papparich, Manhattan Fish Market, etc.
they shld privastise ptptn n sell it to bank or ah long...they can sure mange it better than gomen...then the borrower will realise ptptn is not their grandpa charity service...
the gomen shld lend the money to them with collaterls or guarantor...if no pay jus go after their parent la, house la.. car la...or giv them animal head as warning la...lol..then they know this is not charity service...
jus blacklist them n their children, relatives children all cannot apply ptptn in future becoz by not paying they are taking the chance of other children to apply...
n i tell u they work very hard to get good result bcoz they r borrowing from bank...lol..u borrow from ptptn...my father say its free education from gomen ...jus anyhow study la...
long time ago, banks used to give out study loans.... until they realise that most students dont want to pay back, so nowadays banks hardly offer anymore study loans. banks offer housing loan, cos if u dont pay back, they take back house banks offer car loan, cos if u dont pay back, they take back car but study loan is different, if u dont pay back, they cant take back your degree. that's why most banks dont offer study loans anymore.

is the writer driving a local Proton Saga or Perodua Axia? dont think so
basically writer prefer to pay as little as possible back (and as slow as possible) to PTPTN while enjoying the luxuries of life.
