Referred to Q3 ended 29/2/2020 :

PPE = 149.865 million

Cash n bank balances = 62.409 million

Short term deposit with banks = 16.402 million

Long term borrowing = 35.006 million

Short term borrowing = 171.127 million

>>> Gearing ratio = 0.91

FY19 revenue = 1.560 billion , Loss = 0.2 %

FY20 (3Q) revenue = 0.906 billion , Loss = 0.5 %

Due to the new plant , Debt Gearing Ratio is gap up to 0.91 . The killing part is 83 % is of short terms borrowing.

I bought comfort at 88.5 sen and Supermax at Rm1.73

Sold comfort near Rm3.00 to buy Top Glove call warrant but keeping Supermax till now at Rm7.63

Only Nylex now at 81 sen still very cheap

Also bought Supermax C87 at 34.5 sen now amazing high at Rm2.34

They say good things not cheap and cheap things not good

Yes in real world

In share market is very different

Good stocks like Supermax was sold so cheaply at Rm1.73

And I expect one day as we look back and say the same about Nylex

Nylex at 81 sen will look like a bargain in next few quarter results

Early April or end March I studied these 3 companies

1. Supermax
2. Comfort gloves
3. Rubberex

1 and 2 passed my scrutiny as both are into medical exam gloves

So I bought Supermax at Rm1.73 and Comfort at 88.5 sen

Then I did a study on rubberex

To my surprise Rubberex account more solid

Only 2 things held me back

1. I saw rubberex not pure exam gloves but also sell industrial gloves

Only medical gloves are needed for covid 19. Since rubberex has mixed products it gave me mixed feelings

2. I saw again that rubberex made a huge loss of Rm60 millions when it closed it's vinyl factory in China

I worried that they might have siphoned money out

So with these two reservations I held back from buying rubberex at only 82.5 sen then

Alas

I was too careful so I missed Rubberex

Never mind as it turned out my choosing Supermax was superb and comfort not bad

So no regrets

Just hit some and miss some

Ya, yesterday missed my price purchase due to lower rate and today shot up to 3 plus. Hit and miss , glove is really the only game in town.

Calvin should check KNM instead. The biggest Ethanol producer in SEA....they got impress ethanol plant in thailand

Yes I read knm got sell ethanol in Thailand
Only thing I don't like is the management of knm

Knm was once a huge pump and dump stock like gpacket that caused many to lose lots of money

Better stay safe with Nylex because they are proven he honest business people
