The authorities, public, you and me are not the proper one to forgive.
His bad KARMA is not completely dissolved. He have to face the consequence until it is forgiven by the almighty. Meanwhile,, those who are insulting and making fun of him are stacking up their bad KARMA 😃. That is how it works.

It all depend on what crime did he committed and had he served his jail term.
But for crime committed against 12 year old girl and then be allowed to represent a country in Olympic is too much for public to stomach.

Public sentiment is not always right as they have fixed perception meaning unforgiving. Once a criminal always a criminal. It is all based on judgement. Herein lies the difference between simpleton human being and god.
