S&P,DOW n Nasdaq up 0.5-0.9%..U.S. stocks added to gains after data showed weekly initial jobless claims fell more than expected to a near six-year low and a final reading for second-quarter GDP held steady..
3rd quarter coming soon? guarantee losses like before..hehe...may be the highest losses it will record...that may be the reason for increase in price...so more can be duped...watch your back and front...hehe
I would be more concerned if there's no quarterly loss, it simply means no corporation is needed ( with other telco). Now, the reason why we're here is to bet on some deals with DIGI, nobody cares hows the quarterly results, at least in near term.
From my understanding, GPACKET continue operating WiMax with infrastructure cost etc covered by DIGI, while DIGI will be able to access GPACKET's spectrum awarded by MCMC.
Even thestar says Digi is closest to clinch P1. At least a few buyers. If GP successfully offload P1, it will be a win win situation. I would like to believe this positive news will bring Gpacket uptrend. However, YTLP price is moving up instead of digi
Puan Chan Cheong, last huh rah coming or another round of screwing shareholders. Playing the wolf boy for so long and now with telcos big men, how will he fared or get his own fingers burnt. Will he accept DIGI offer of RM1.6 bill or will he refused and hold on until bigger prize money comes along?
That guy is openly asking for offer >RM1.5B! Anyone has a clue as to whether RM1.5B is too high a price to ask for? Will the suitors pay this price ? If not then the share may tank again?
" Brekke reiterates that DiGi lacks spectrum and made no secret that is actively looking to acquire new telecommunications spectrum to sustain its growth plan.
Part of the plan could be acquiring companies that own such spectrum, such as the four companies that have the 2,300 megahertz (MHz) spectrum.
DiGi has traditionally been allocated the least amount of spectrum. Maxis Bhd and Celcom Axiata Bhd have around eight times more spectrum in the 900 MHz band.
Brekke hopes DiGi will not be disadvantaged in future when it comes to spectrum. Acknowledging that DiGi is still a little behind when it comes to coverage, Brekke says DiGi has been ramping up quite quickly. "
- Depends on how one interprets this... So tomorrow you choose, buy, hold or sell./
Investors still holding on the Gpacket for a reason...price still stable at 0.52 resistance...if break 0.52 tomorrow, might see 0.58~0.60... Then the next one will be 0.66
Pls br careful everyone. TheStar reporting about thheavy getting contract was a lie. Saw it from thheavy thread. Media these days cannot be trusted at all.
the px will not be hanging up ard 0.50s if insiders dont expect any deal..it will hv corrected back to the low 0.30s..anyway lets see..the GP Board of directors will meet n decide..good luck ..
"Since The Star is reporting 80% of RM750m from Digi and Nanyang is reporting RM 1.5b from Gpacket, I will playfully take it as (RM 600m + RM 1500m)/2 = RM 1.05b. At 690m shares in Gpacket, RM 1.05b will be knocking at RM 1.50 +/- per ordinary share.
As conservative as I am, I am taking a slash cut at 50% discount from RM 1.50 at RM 0.75 range. Of course, when Digi is taking over all the infrastructural cost for Gpacket, I am not surprise to see Gpacket delivering it's WiMax services as an operator without major overhead, which will definitely put them into gems of the Year 2014.
