Company expects EMGS to provide strong recurring income

SCICOM: Processes visas for all foreign students seeking to study in Malaysia via EMGS (Education Malaysia which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Malaysian Ministry of Education).

For FYE June 2014, 64,000 students were processed and only for private learning institutions.

Management has projected that this figure could double over the next two financial years,

and this does not include public learning institutions, which have an equivalent student market size.

Near term lift for retraining/education division

Scicom has also the ability to facilitate large group retraining and reskilling.

To this end, Scicom recently secured a major contract from Khazanah to reskill 2,000 Malaysia Airlines (MAS) employees (as part of the latter’s restructuring program).

Over a period of six months, such reskilling programs could cost about RM10k per person.

Trading on a trailing PE of 25x FYE6/14 EPS.

This excludes the growth that management expects from the EMGS and education divisions.

Based on the Bloomberg consensus forecasts, global peers Accenture, Serco Group Plc and Capita Plc are trading at PEs of 16-17x.

Hi Dakewlest, entry price at the current level is acceptable by me so long I am not trade on contra basis.
I would like to go for mid term gain in term of short term basis.
Moreover, it pays dividend every Quarter plus the upcoming BONUS ISSUE to expand the liquidity of this stock in the market.
Looking forward to grow with this gem.

Off market married deal, 10 millions share @ $1.8 ! Technically this news sound good to me, as off market deal normally will have 5-10% discount on market value. Further more it would be interesting to find out who is the buyer ? I m quite positive that this is a institution buy and maybe govt investment arm !!

Netinsat bought 20 mil shares back in year 2013 and disposed half of them at 2 days ago. Besides, the 2 directors have also disposed 20 mil of shares as well.
