@ Epseps. Seller will still received the dividend if sell on ex-date. Buyer will not receive dividend if buy on ex-date. In short, whoever hold the share on closing of the day before ex-date will receive the dividend. Opening share price on ex-date mean the share sill be trading (open) at ex-div price. [= previous day closing price - dividend]

Not necessary price will drop after ex div date. I recall Myeg price surged on the immediate ex div date after an announcement on previous day after trading hour.

Untunglah employee Esceram dapat ESOS, they deserve it for doing the work that the rest of us shareholder profit from. Any dilution effect is minimal, the share issued under ESOS is less than 1%.

Yesterday Harta declared 17.70 cents dividend with net profit RM1.1 billion
Today Supermx declared 13 cents dividend with net profit RM1.0 billion
ES last quarter net profit RM8.5 million n declared 4 cents dividend. Believe the coming QR results wil be fantastic
