Kementerian Kesihatan ingin memaklumkan bahawa Mesyuarat Pihak Berkuasa Kawalan Dadah (PBKD) kali ke-356 telah bersidang pada hari ini, 23 April 2021.
Mesyuarat telah bersetuju meluluskan pendaftaran secara bersyarat untuk kegunaan semasa bencana bagi produk vaksin CoronaVac Suspension for Injection COVID-19 Vaccine (Vero Cell), Inactivated yang dihasilkan oleh Pharmaniaga LifeScience Sdn Bhd (PLS) menerusi pengilangan secara fill and finish (pengilangan produk pukal kepada produk siap), yang pertama kali dilaksanakan di negara ini. Produk ini merupakan sumber kedua kepada produk CoronaVac yang telah berdaftar dari pengilang Sinovac Life Sciences Co. Ltd., China.
Pengilangan fill and finish produk CoronaVac oleh PLS merupakan pencapaian terbaru Malaysia yang selama ini bergantung kepada produk vaksin dan produk plasma yang diimport. Ia merupakan vaksin untuk kegunaan manusia pertama yang dikeluarkan oleh pengilang tempatan. Diharapkan perkembangan ini dapat memacu pertumbuhan industri farmaseutikal tempatan dalam penghasilan produk-produk tersebut.
KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa kelulusan pendaftaran secara bersyarat ini memerlukan syarikat pemegang pendaftaran produk iaitu Pharmaniaga LifeScience mengemukakan data-data tambahan dan terkini produk vaksin tersebut dari semasa ke semasa, bagi memastikan keberkesanan dan keselamatannya sentiasa dikemaskini dan perbandingan manfaat-risiko (benefit over risk) vaksin ini kekal positif.
Kementerian Kesihatan akan sentiasa mempertingkatkan tahap kesihatan awam dalam memerangi wabak COVID-19 melalui perolehan bekalan vaksin yang telah dinilai daripada aspek kualiti, keselamatan dan keberkesanan oleh Bahagian Regulatori Farmasi Negara (NPRA) dan diluluskan oleh PBKD. Kerajaan juga komited untuk memastikan penduduk dewasa Malaysia mencapai imuniti kelompok (herd immunity) selaras dengan sasaran Program Imunisasi Vaksin COVID-19 Kebangsaan.

If you need to average down, u gona do it now, follow vaccine schedule, the fill & finish is about to roll out monthly from end Apr every month by 1mil++ botols (Every months), which suppose targeted 12mil botols by end of 2021. Pharma fill and finish Sinovac had gotten the Emergency approval. This is in line with the National Vaccination programe, 12mil will be 1/3 of Malaysian. Furthermore, they can raise their capacity to more then 12mil if requested by Govt. Halal vaccine is sure next! as Pharma been prepare for this since 2017-2018. You better hope they can do it, otherwise no one gona save our economy beside vaccine, dont put the hope on Pfizer and Astra Zanecca, the number is just too little to give impact to our economy recovery, other richer countries is offering higher price and que infront of us, by time u got ur pfizer, the world already back to normal.

KUALA LUMPUR (May 7): Pharmaniaga Bhd has proposed a bonus issue of 1.06 billion shares on the basis of four bonus shares for every share held on an entitlement date to be announced later.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the integrated pharmaceutical group said the proposed bonus issue is an appropriate avenue to reward its shareholders as it will enable the existing shareholders to have greater participation in the equity of the company whilst maintaining their percentage of equity interest.

Besides that, Pharmaniaga said the bonus issue is also expected to enhance the affordability, marketability and trading liquidity of its shares, and thus provide opportunity for greater participation from a broader range of investors.

According to Pharmaniaga, the theoretical ex-bonus share price of its shares is expected to be between 68 sen and 77 sen.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the proposed bonus issue is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2021.

Shares of Pharmaniaga went up nine sen or 2.65% to RM3.48 today, bringing it a market capitalisation of RM910.74 million. The counter saw 306,500 shares traded today.

Year to date, the counter has declined by 30.4% from RM3.48 on Dec 31, 2020.

Bonus issue is different with Stock Split, 4:1 Bonus issue is Pharmaniaga will use it Reserve company value & profit to turn into extra stock unit, thus current stock holder will get free 4 shares for every 1 share. It will not impact the face value per stock. If successful Bonus issue, each stock will price aprox 0.68-0.77, more liquid to the market, more traders, more easy to goreng up, Vaccine Theme is coming, if vaccine failed to roll out, our country biz will be a hard landing. Every year later, Pharma will use it current capacity to roll out more vaccine for National use & probably for export purposes, Halal vaccine effort since 2018 will be a added edge consider our country is having a good reputation & strategic position in Muslim world. The vaccine is not for 1x use, yearly covid vaccination will be a new normal later. The Big change is coming! the more quite the Board, the bigger the wave they are planning under table.

Stock split or bonus issue, the company has nothing to lose. If give out dividend, the company has to pay a lot (sacrifice a lot).
