Supermax result was badly affected because of US custom ban and partly because of Taikor has gain backi its market shares.The rest of the top three manufacturers are beneficial. Cheers to Taikor, Yeekor and Samkor

100% glove companies QR are showing so much reduction in profit SO FAR.

The conclusion is most of them are facing reduction in profit.

Only one out of 4 big glove Co still pending QR which is TG.

Actually very easy to predict the real picture of TG QR.

Unless TG has plantation division.



CAMBODIA/MALAYSIA: Top Glove to invest RM160 million in Cambodian rubber plantation
Top Glove Corp Bhd, the world's largest rubber glove manufacturer, is investing RM160 million in Cambodia to plant rubber trees to reduce its dependency on latex which is bought at market prices.

Chairman Tan Sri Lim Wee Chai said in Kuala Lumpur on 11 Jan. 2011 that the company was targetting to obtain 20% of its latex requirement from the plantation over time.

"We have about 8,000 ha of net plantable land for rubber trees,” he said at a briefing for analysts and reporters on Top Glove's first quarter results ended 30 Nov. 2010.

You talk about plantation leh. Ular cakap rubber plantation is also plantation leh. Not wrong mah. Taikor ada plantation also mah. Now you talk oil palm plantation kah. Not all ada oil palm plantation crrs ada move up also even CPO above rm5000 leh. Companies likeatang rsawit tdm also ada oil palm plantation pun tak nampak saham naik alot leh. But plantation company like KLK pun ada join glove making as a late comer leh. They are spending rm200 to start glove production in Perak leh. End of this month start production leh. Dunno when can breakeven pun tak tau lah. Mau tutup ship kah. Correct?
