碳粉，英语称为Toner，已经成为日常生活中不可或缺的物品之一。

碳粉的主要成分不是碳，而大多数是由树脂和黏合剂组成。
 

 
墨粉经高温融化到纸纤维中，树脂被氧化成带有刺激气味的气体，这就是大家所说的‘臭氧’。

这种气体只有一种好处，就是保护地球，减少太阳辐射的危害。

对人体本身没什么好处，会对人体粘膜造成刺激，容易提高哮喘发生率或是鼻子过敏，甚至头晕、呕吐等现象。
 

 
碳粉分为磁性碳粉与无磁碳粉，且每一个机器型号所用的碳粉的成分配比都是不同的。

许多瓶装碳粉或散装碳粉皆没有区分，只用一种磁性碳粉混用，在用错碳粉或用劣质碳粉的时候就不单单对人体与环境有害，并且还会损坏打印机及影响打印机寿命。
 


2006年4月20日上市的加迪影像（JADI，7223，主板工业产品股），是马来西亚唯一、东南亚最大的碳粉制造商，产品销售至全世界50多个国家。
 
加迪影的业务主要是开发、制定、生产用于镭射打印机、复印机、传真机、多功能办公室器材的碳粉。
 

 
过去几年，随着智慧型手机和云端运算服务可储存影像，造成消费者印刷行业开始转变。
 

 
消费者印刷形态转变、欧洲经济放缓，导致印刷装备需求降低，市场上的“随需列印”也导致印刷量锐减，这些都严重冲击加迪影像的盈利。
 

 
截至2013年4月3日，加迪影像的其中一个主要大股东为发电商美佳第一（MFCB，3069，主板贸服股）。

随着绿色技术的突破，经过8年的研究与开发，加迪影像研发了世界上第一款生物基础的Palmotone化学碳粉，以及一系列的环保的化学彩粉，从而降低使用可消耗的石油资源，减少不利的二氧化碳的排放。
 
尽管含有了生物基础的物质，在色彩应用上，比起以石油为基础的化学碳粉来的更环保。

然而基于目前盈利展望疲弱，加上电费涨价，恐进一步影响公司赚幅，分析员下调公司2013至2014财年盈利预测34.9%和17.2%。
