Luckily FGV is not 100% CPO price dependants only. They have downstream(cooking oil) and sugar division to buffer CPO price temp downturn.

Previously plantation use mostly workers from Indonesians. But its hard to get them nowadays due to apently of plantation work opportunity in their home country. 80% of the workforce consist of foreign labour. Nepalese are the 3rd largest and growing source of foreign worker for oil palm after Indonesian and Bangladeshi. This may give significant impact to the sector which is already slim in its workforce coupled with the high production months where stable workforce is crucial. Govt really have to tackle this issue seriously.
