JJChan, The Farmers and Settlers are the most exploited. They worked the hardest, but not rewarded accordingly. Some of them still have IPO for FGV since the beginning. How are they going to survive with the price of the CPO now?

Upstream business for FGV will be better off replaced with downstream and focus more on productivity and marketing. I think the management is smart to tackle this issue.

Upstream is getting tough and challenged by the European Unions that produces Canola and Soya Oil. Their Soya and Canola oils are like palm oil in our country.

They need to emulate Sime Darby. Send some people go there to learn from Sime Darby. Come on. Sime Darby not only 1 business, multiple, from plantations to industrials. Even Medical they also have. Those are money making machines.

FGV need to pick up fast. Don't just rely onto CPO businesses. The cost itself will stiffen the losses. The top management needed to integrate with other businesses and I STRONGLY BELIEVED, JV with China will be a good start. The MOU with Dalian together with "one road, one belt" mission is a ultimate sign of turnaround for FGV.

Malaysian are too good at digging out dirts under the carpet. After they dug the dirts out, they only know what rule of law to apply to those convicts.

This was badly handled by Azhar and his team , if there will be complete impairment there should be a profit warning from FGV themselves .. However that did not happen until AmInvest broke the news which mean it’s an insider news to trap minority shareholder.'

I think there should be complain to MSWG on FGV .

There no longer should be any blame game on previous management which means Azhar and his team must deliver … the impairment has already been done which means no more excuses or surprise unless Azmin do a screw up by 10th December .. I will not touch this toxic shit till 10th December .

It at least should have a technical rebound this week since been in downtrend for almost few weeks now ..

Daily8 actually Azhar had worked in Sime Darby plantation before. Yet he cannot do much here after 1+ year in FGV. When some1 mentioned Bakke as 1 successor I doubt he can do much either. Perhaps Chinese CEO preferable.

FGV_ , if Azhar worked in Sime darby (I didn't read through his profile), I supposed he is doing "something" according to the know-how to handle the situation. Is he just a Chairman or Managing Director?

Usually the MD will execute and manage the management and procurement and etc and they execute well.

Teachnically . FGV no more support. There will be new support once all the news of the looming impairments are out. Better put aside for those who have FGV shares. Doesn't matter is 4, 3, 2 Ringgit anymore. Now below 1.00, nothing to shout about anymore.

When price hovered at 1.40+, many shareholders are unwilling to sell off. So I believed many stuck at 1.70 and above. The sell off only started at 1.20 when the support was broken and all the way down.

The escalating sell off driven by Retailer-contrarians, who wish to do FIFO-ing.

I think the last resort shall be White Table (WT) by Azmin on the 10th. I hope he can do it earlier.

Cut Loss should be at least 8% max. If price dropped so much assuming more than 50%, it's very pointless to do CL anymore.
