Despite decades in politics, Anwar remain amateur in economics! Mega projects are not for today! They are for the future!
So yeah, we were ill equip dealing with Covid! That's because for over 60 years, our healthcare was not fully developed! So many states don't even have proper hospitals!
During state of emergency, Mohiden didn't even bother to utilize private hospitals! Didn't even do rapid setup of Covid only patients adhoc facilty! Harapan didn't even bother to provide ideas!
Today, Anwar used rakyat talking how concern he is for rakyat! Come on dude, don't use rakyat as your card!
You accused Khairy of mishandled vaccine purchases! You don't even bother to check your facts before falsely talking about vaccine!
Anywaya, mega projects are for rakyat! They are there for rakyat once Covid is under control! LRT, MRT and ECRL are for rakyat! HSR also for rakyat! So that rakyat have cheaper alternative to go back to their hometown! That's the whole point for mega projects, for rakyat!

What is wrong with that?

Global economic is just recovering from the pandemic impact.

Government's focus should be on assisting ailing businesses and the people instead of rolling out mega projects.

The former disgraced PM cum Finance Minster is trying to bring back GST in this trying time.

Do they know that cost of daily needs items and transportation ballooned?

There are many LRTS' highways mega projects and nothing works perfectly.

In fact it burdens commuters cost and time.

The best is they are not reliable. 10 minute route takes 45 minutes ride and you call it efficient?

If you take a bird's eye view of the roads and rail infrastructure, it looks like an accident person on bandage.

Gannina! Do you know foreign tourists are praising our public transportion! Most of us don't use public transportation but we do if travel aboard! Same with those in B40 group! Public transportation is very important but for middle class, we dont' see this! For foreign tourists, public transportation is a must! Public transportion is backbone for tourism! And tourism bring in back money! Anwar doesn't see this! Anwar is so blind but only capitalize on rakyat suffering!
Look, there's alot of help for rakyat for the last 20 months or so! It's not much but it's there!

Tourists are guest to the country and they do not make a living here.
They are excited at every thing or pretend to be.
Their opinion is like water under bridge.

Yes. you right most of Malaysians do not use public transportation and I have given you the reasons and I list it for you

1. The cost puts a hole into the wallet.

2. A short route which takes 10 minutes is stretched for more than 30 minutes with multiple train/bus switching. In short a simple route is sliced into 2 or 3 parts.

4. With cost and time consumed, the last mile connectivity is absent.
Another cost to hire a taxi for the final mile or walk.

5. The schedule is unreliable. Waiting at times takes more than 30 minutes.

The help you mentioned only last for few days.
