~ latest variant Omicron virus spiking around the world

~ stamp duty increased by 50% for local equities

~ "cukai makmur" imposed for by 33% for the year 2022 for profit above RM 100 mil

~ debt ceiling for GOM gradually increased so expected global rating agencies will reevaluate rating local financial market
