Actually things are getting better here as daily infections are on the downtrend!
Please, don't follow cold climate lockdown! Actually US, UK and the rest of EU don need to go into lockdown! As long as the vaccination rate is above 90%, it's as good as lockdown!
While current vaccine may not be effective against Omicron, those who are infected suffer very mild symptoms!
The only way to get rid of Covid is to use anti viral! As for US and UK, they should immediate approve the use of anti viral to stop the spread of Omicron!

In short, lockdown is pointless and wasteful! We have been on this path before! Just adapt to Covid! And get anti viral once it is available for those who are infected!
