So China is uncontrollable! Or should we say CCP is uncontrollable! So when the dog is biting the master, the master of course give some time for the dog to behave! But if the dog continue to misbehave, then the master will shot the dog and replace with new puppy!
And that's exactly what we are seeing with current shift of supply chain! But India is no China! Indians are no match for chinese ingenuity!
Take EV for example, India was actually years ahead compare to China! And yet India is still figuring EV out after a decade! But China not only master EV but now world leader in EV! And soon, the world will be flooded with cheap EVs to ensure China dominance all over the world!

Actually we are witnessing the very initially romance between India and US! And we should see more and more supply chain going big in India! 20 years later, China will be shadow of world factory tag as India will surpass China!
Again, as i said, India is no China! Indians are completely different breed! And segregated by caste! And this time, the enlightens will deal with ever growing wealth and power of the brahmins!
The brahmins have long established themselves! Cornering India for the longest time! Just like how the enlightens cornered US and the world before!
So basically enlightens are repeating the same mistake over and over again!

Anyway, China will probably survive the decoupling from US and EU! However, having said that, China will go through very painful domestic economy! Perhaps a decade or two of deflation! And this time, China will have to deal with reality that going against World Order according to the enlightens have severe consequences!

Today, local chinese may want to take credit of China amazing achievements! But maybe tomorrow, they will once again back to their grandparents memory of closed China! Because, even 100 millions chinese China desperately seek greener pasture outside of China can have devastating impact on overseas chinese! Bare in mind, that there are actually only 40 million chinese descendant all over the world! A figure that is so tiny! And like it or not, for local chinese here, there's only less than 7 million chinese descendants! A shocking tiny considering 2 milion chinese China have not left Malaysia for years now!

You are mistaken!!
China reached this situation coz all other countries was UNABLE to takeover for past 50 years.
Its the SUM total of all those small small micro SMEs that China possesses.
The IQ of the lowest IQ road sweeper in China is even 20% way higher than elsewhere; factory workers in other countries.

China has a NEXUS ecosystem that no other country has.
US had been trying extra hard with Indonesia, Mexico and India for past 50 years but still failure case as at today.

China started on toys in 1970s after huge US companies like Mattel outsourced.

being communist, 1 job which can be done by only 1 company was usually outsourced to at least 5 or more companies.

The masssively parallel competition drove prices down and efficiency upwards.
Toys require lots of small parts involving metals, rubber, wood, plastics injections, materials science, metal casting, polymer technology mouldings, oven baking etc etc.

1980s
As toys incorporated electronics,
and Japan outsourced to China instead.
This became the Golden Age of China basic consumer electronics in the 1980s

1990s
China moved to high end consumer electronics.

2000s
In 2005, IBM sold its consumer computer business to Lenovo, followed shortly by even its x86 server business as well in 2014.

Conclusion
All other competing countries like India, Mexico and Indonesia are expected to fail because it is not a communist country.
Likely another 50 years of continued dancing and horse racing for China.
