Energy and resources that could have been allocated to constructive endeavors such as education, infrastructure, and economic development are instead diverted towards maintaining control or dominance within the society. This hampers progress and impedes the well-being of the population.

You need good education, entrepreneurship, open minded and work ethic of integrity, responsibility, quality, discipline, hardworking and teamwork to develop the state.
It does not matter whatever % of ethnicity a state has.

Because of weak mm governance leading to weak ringgit, every non in rushing to work in Singapore. The layback mm will be grab workers like forever

At least Johoreons cross over to Singapore to earn Singapore dollar and brought back the need foreign currency to develope the state.
On the other end Kedahan cross over to Thai to enjoy themselve or marriage another wife and spend all the government given free MYR in Thailand.

The tribal ppl who idolise day in day out ritual, ideology and fanaticism of the medieval past only know to enjoy moment pleasure of the cavemen's indulgence. Do you expect them to evolve to appreciate and focus on progressive morality and meaningful living that takes stock of the past, present, and future, as well as how they're connected - often involves withstanding times of stress and challenge with endurance and patience.
