There would be increased, not decreased, stress: While intended to reduce stress, continuous assessment would paradoxically increase it. Students invariably feel constant pressure to perform well in various activities (sports, psychometrics, classroom participation), leading to a sustained rather than episodic stress pattern. And constant stress is highly unhealthy, leading to increasing obesity, diabetes, mental illnesses, cancer, etc
