The Board of Directors of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that the resolutionset out in the Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") dated4 August 2022 which wastabled at the EGM of the Company held today, 26 August 2022 wasduly passed at the said EGM.

The resolutionwasvoted by poll in accordance with Article 89 of the Company's Constitution and Paragraph 8.29A of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia SecuritiesBerhad. The resultof the poll wasvalidated by Sky Corporate Services Sdn Bhd, the Independent Scrutineer appointed by the Company.
