SapuraCrest, Kencana announcement at 5pm

SapuraCrest Petroleum Bhd. and Kencana Petroleum Bhd, two Malaysian oil and gas services companies, will announce a merger plan at 5pm in Kuala Lumpur today, Maybank Investment Bank Bhd. said in a media invitation.
Integral Key Sdn Bhd, a closely held company, will acquire the assets and liabilities of both groups, the invitation said, without giving details.
Maybank is advising on the deal, the companies said in earlier stock exchange filings. - Bloomberg
