Malaysia Smelting slides on fall in Q1 net

Malaysia Smelting Corp slid 2.8 percent to RM4.10 in Kuala Lumpur trading at 9.25am, bound for its steepest decline since Feb. 24.

The tin producer's first-quarter net income dropped to RM5.7 million from RM28.3 million a year earlier, it said in a stock-exchange filing. -- Bloomberg
