KUALA LUMPUR: Alam Maritim Resources Bhd, via its wholly owned subsidiary, Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd has received RM30.15 million contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of two offshore support vessels to support the latter's drilling activity.

The company said the contract is for a primary period of seven months with an extension option for another three months.

"The contract is expected to positively contribute to the earnings and net assets of Alam Maritim for the financial year ending December 31 2013," it said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia.
