Bursa uplifts Luster Industries from PN17

Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd announced today that Luster Industries Bhd has regularised its financial condition and no
longer triggered any of the criteria under Paragraph 2.1 of Practice Note 17 (PN17).

In a statement today, it said it would continue to monitor the progress of PN17 companies in respect of their compliance with the Listing Requirements.

"With the upliftment of Luster from its status, there are a total of 25 companies under the PN17 status, representing 2.73 per cent of the total number of 916 companies listed on Bursa Malaysia," it added.-- Bernama

Why are all these PN companies got approval for listing on KLSE only to be delisted ? What happens to the minority share holders ? Who is to be blamed ?

If don't approve, how to be rich! Unlike the old days in the 70's, 80's, the authorities are very strict and to be listed companies must pass certain criteria's like price earning ratios to qualify to get listed with a premium and also must forecast the dividend to be paid in the following year. Now, u help me, I help u attitude is followed strictly. Soooooooooo easy to be listed.
