KUALA LUMPUR: Astral Supreme Bhd's shares were actively traded today after the company announced a joint-venture agreement with Zenith PMC Sdn Bhd to carry out initial works for the proposed Penang undersea tunnel with a contract worth RM275 million.
At 11 am, the company's share lost three sen to 26.5 sen, with 43.25 million shares traded.
"The joint venture will manage, perform, conduct feasibility studies and draw up detailed design for the RM6.3 billion Penang-Butterworth undersea tunnel project," Astral Supreme said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today. -- BERNAMA
