Malaysia keeps Oct CPO export tax at 4.5pc

Malaysia, the world's No.2 palm oil producer, has set its crude palm oil export tax for October at 4.5 per cent, a government circular showed on Tuesday. The rate is unchanged since March.

The Southeast Asian country calculated a reference price of RM2,306.11 per tonne for crude palm oil for October, effectively keeping the rate unchanged.-- Reuters
