Datasonic price raised to RM3.36

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB has upgrade Datasonic fair value to MYR3.36 based on a revised FY2014 forward price earnings ratio.

According to RHB, investors are recognising its potential amidst current market expectations that the Government will impose a compulsory migration to the new MyKad.

"Its 4Q13 results, due for release on Feb 28, will likely be in line with our forecasts.

"Moving forward, the group intends to value add to their logistics services by providing 3PL warehousing services, which now include the distribution services for their clients where margins are higher than conventional warehousing."

"At the moment, the only notable competitors are Tiong Nam Logistics and Century Logistics."

The group also provides shipping services comprising of shipping agencies, ship chartering, bunkering, containerization, marine support and tug and barges. Moving forward, the group intends to value add to their logistics services by providing 3PL warehousing services, which now include the distribution services for their clients where margins are higher than conventional warehousing. At the moment, the only notable competitors are Tiong Nam Logistics and Century Logistics.
