CIMB shares down 15 sen

KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Group Holdings Bhd's share price fell mid-afternoon following news that its chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak was taking leave of absence, effective today.

The bank's share price stood at RM4.82, down 15 sen, as at 4pm with 16.90 million shares transacted.

CIMB's share price, which hovered between RM4.72 and RM4.96 so far, was also one of the most actively traded stock today.

Nazir announced his leave of absence after the bank's annual general meeting, pending an internal review of US$7 million which he helped distribute ahead of the 13th General Election.--BERNAMA
