KUALA LUMPUR: Andorra Healthcare Bhd has inked a strategic partnership with Crewstone International Sdn Bhd to secure RM150 million in funding for the expansion of its hospital infrastructure.

Andorra Healthcare executive chairman and director Dr Khamsiah Muda said that Crewstone's expertise and financial support will enable it to accelerate its hospital expansion plans, which are critical to delivering high-quality healthcare to its patients.

"This partnership underscores our shared commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that our medical facilities are among the best in the region," she said in a statement.

Andorra Healthcare said that the funds will be utilised for the expansion of several hospital facilities, including the addition of state-of-the-art medical equipment, increasing bed capacity, and enhancing patient care services.

The expansion will ensure that Andorra's hospitals are equipped to provide top-tier medical care, cater to a larger patient base, and support future healthcare needs.

The project is set to begin in the fourth quarter (4Q) of 2024 and is expected to be completed by 4Q 2027.
