SEA, 31 st October, 2020 - ATFX just held an Online Summit and marathon trading contest in South East Asia. 

The event kicked off on 30th October at 7 PM where participants were briefed on the rules and got started trading the markets. Clients from the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Korea, Cambodia, and Myanmar all participated and got some great insights from ATFX’s Market Analysts. 

The contest was held over 10 hours and ended on the 31st October at 5 AM. Prior to the competition starting, traders were given several educational sessions from ATFX analysts to ensure they were fully prepared for the event.

There were three educational sessions hosted by ATFX’s expert market analysts. This included Alejandro Zambrano, ATFX’s Global Chief Market Strategist, Ramy Abouziad, Dubai Head of Market Research, Martin Lam ATFX Chief Analyst for the Asia Pacific, and Jason Tee, ATFX Market Strategist for South-East Asia. 

Alejandro Zambrano, ATFX’s Global Chief Market Strategist hosted a panel discussion assisted by Ramy Abouziad where they discussed the future of the Forex markets, and the impact of the US presidential election on the forex, gold and oil markets. The session lasted from 7PM to 10PM. 

The second session, which lasted for one hour, was hosted by Martin Lam and Jason Tee where they discussed the Asian forex markets, the impact of COVID-19 on trading conditions and how to maintain a robust trading mindset, among other concepts. 

The third session was hosted solely by Alejandro Zambrano where he covered how to use various indicators for trading.

The sessions demonstrate ATFX’s commitment to educating its clients about the markets so they can become better traders and long-term customers. 

Congratulations to the winners. The top three traders all got awards with the winner receiving a $1,000 cash prize and the ATFX trophy. The winner got the title of ATFX’s “The Best Trader in South East Asia 2020”. Second place received $500, while third got $300.
