Malaysia political scene, no big idea. Compare with China big idea.
No big idea. That is also big problem in the Malaysian political scene.
Recap
1980 - 2000 Mahathir era, Tiger economy, Mahathir trying to solve Malay dilemma by growing the pie.
2000 - 2018 ..Anwar's big idea. Renaissance with Western liberal democracy.
2018 - now Malay unity government
By now, all old ideas , all old generals all discredited. No new idea, no unifying idea.
Anyone can step forward to give new vision? New big idea?
As example, lets look at China
China 1949 - 2021
1949 - 1980 Laying the foundation. Orthodox Maxism / Leninism through land reforms, Education , heath care improvements.
1980 - 2020 Reform and opening up
2010 - present. Targeted poverty eradication which successfully eradicated extreme poverty by 2020.
2021 to 2050 Rejuvenation of China to first rank country in the world in all aspects. Recapturing the Han Tang glory. This is to be achieve by socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Secret sauce.......throughout 1949 to present, there is enormous energy in the country. Never short of patriotic energy even in its darkest hour. , even when mistakes are made.
Anyone who wish to be strong leader in Malaysia need to come with fresh new idea. What would it be? Without fresh new idea, all I can see is slow journey to failed state.

socialism is not at odds with Islam you know.....actually Islamic values also very socialists in nature....like kampong socialism.

Answer : Yeah, Shared Prosperty Vision 2030 was Assmin idea! Mahathir liked it and did this Shameless Shared Dignity Congress with Assmin Mohiden Hadi and Mohiden! Yeah, sharing about crooks seems legit! Fast forward, it seems the so called prosperity totally wallop by Assmin! While the rest of us gone under force lockdown, his cronies enjoy full swing operation! Why 90% of new clusters originated from factories, Assmin took his well earn vacation with millons bank into his account every month!

In short, whoever get to the top, they only interested to fill up their pockets! Be it Anwar or whoever next after that! And the joke is,rakyat continue to believe this fairy tales about how if they change the government, they will somewhat see Malaysia turn into dreamland where rakyat are happy, with equality justice fairness and all those sweet bs that we always wanted come through everytime we sleep at night!

time for big idea has come...its socialism with Malaysian characteristics.
in the capitalism we live in helping the poorest / those in need is charity. But better if helping the poorest / those in need is not charity but is collective responsibility. We shall call that socialism with Malaysian characteristic....meaning harmony is the centre of every thing we do.
capitalism vs socialism.....capitalism is somewhat like feudalism, protection racket for the rich/ favored races.
socialism involves a revolution in the mental mode breaking the bonds of classes, and race.
