Does turmoil in Russian market cause systemic risk in wall Street?

This is the main question people should ask themselves.

In the past, turmoil in Russia  markets has caused financial panics in Wall Street before.  So, this is not a new question.

In terms of size of economy, Russia economy is about the size of Spain, and not very large.  But financial markets are very sensitive and can have outsized effects.

In term of hedge funds, many hedge funds already badly burnt in China .and recent drops in nasdeq/ Dow .  One more blow from Russia can tip many hedge funds over the cliff.

1) There is a saying "Buy on rumours, sell on news". Actually this open border thing government already talk for few days. So high chance it is already priced in. Everyone already expect it will open anyway.

2) AirAsia will not get much benefits because most interstate flight already started for few months. International flight wont have high volume in this moment. And it will result in more loss. Long distance international flight revenue are park under AAX and not this capital A.
