This is my blog
Dear all,
I will always remember and treasure my sweet memory on that fateful morning 10th May 2018

We had started on the 9th May 2018, Malaysians voted from morning till evening, then glued to their internet from evening till morning waiting for the final GE14 result, which took forever to compile; no thanks to the inefficient EC. Even when the official final result was tabled, the waiting-game for the swearing-in ceremony which looks like twice post- phoned put us, normal Malaysian in anxiety:

4.50am: It's official! Pakatan Harapan has secured 113 parliamentary seats, while its ally Parti Warisan
Sabah won eight parliamentary seats.
EC chief Mohd Hashim Abdullah said ousted coalition BN won 79 seats, PAS 18, Sabah state party Star one, and independent candidates three seats. All seats have been announced.

I never imagined I would live to see this day
5.08am: (COMMENT) Syukur Alhamdulillah. Praise be to the Almighty for having answered our collective prayers and for having prevailed, to enable us to realise what we wanted to achieve. What seemed almost impossible has just happened.
A new day has begun for our beloved Malaysia and Malaysians. A new chapter in our history is begging to be written. It is exactly 4.15 am on this historic day, May 10, 2018. I am too excited to sleep...

9.57 pm: Finally there was the official announcement from the Palace that the swearing in of Tun Dr. Mahathir as our Nation’s seventh PM has been fixed at 9.30pm (is it coincidental with your age). Every seconds ticking from 9.30pm onwards agonized us like never before and we prayed and we prayed. Our prayers were answered at 9.57 pm (10th May 2018), a historic moment where all Malaysians will remember and rejoice eternally.

The PH government only lasted a mere 22 months when PM Tun Mahathir resigned on 24/2/2020. By then Tun Mahathir was no longer the progressive, reformist and liberal leader we saw Tun during the G14 campaign and during his speech at the General Debate of the 73rd session of the General Assembly at the United Nations in New York on September 28, 2018.

Quote; “A new Malaysia emerged after the 14th General Election in May this year. Malaysians decided to change their government, which had been in power for 61 years, i.e., since independence. We did this because the immediate past Government indulged in the politics of hatred, of racial and religious bigotry, as well as widespread corruption. The process of change was achieved democratically, without violence or loss of lives.

Malaysians want a new Malaysia that upholds the principles of fairness, good governance, integrity and the rule of law. They want a Malaysia that is a friend to all and enemy of none. A Malaysia that remains neutral and non-aligned. A Malaysia that detests and abhors wars and violence. They also want a Malaysia that will speak its mind on what is right and wrong, without fear or favour. A new Malaysia that believes in co-operation based on mutual respect, for mutual gain. The new Malaysia that offers a partnership based on our philosophy of ‘prosper-thy-neighbour’. We believe in the goodness of cooperation, that a prosperous and stable neighbour would contribute to our own prosperity and stability.

The new Malaysia will firmly espouse the principles promoted by the UN in our international engagements. These include the principles of truth, human rights, the rule of law, justice, fairness, responsibility and accountability, as well as sustainability. It is within this context that the new government of Malaysia has pledged to ratify all remaining core UN instruments related to the protection of human rights. It will not be easy for us because Malaysia is multi-ethnic, multireligious, multicultural and multilingual. We will accord space and time for all to deliberate and to decide freely based on democracy.” Unquote:

The disgraced former PM Najib, UMNO court cluster, PAS MPs, Bersatu MPs and PKR Malay MPs had successfully played “politics of hatred, of racial and religious bigotry, as well as widespread corruption” to topple PH government with “Sheraton Move” which saw BN, Bersatu, PAS and a faction led by PKR’s then deputy president Azmin Ali joining forces to topple the PH government.

PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli is right in saying:

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 — A small but undeniable section of Pakatan Harapan supporters were doing Umno a favour by ridiculing the Malay community for supporting the latter, PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli said.
The PH candidate for Pandan said this included blanket statements claiming Malays did not care about corruption or were easily bought off, sometimes for just RM50.
While insisting they were few, he said it was undeniable that this group was making it hard for Malay voters to approach PH and vice versa
“Avoid racial topics. It would be best if non-Malays not launch personal attacks against rival Malay leaders, especially those with religious backgrounds. The sensitivity can be twisted to portray non-Muslims mocking Islam. Let us Muslims take the lead and expose,” he said in a video today.
“Also avoid commenting on Malay institutions, including the constitutional monarchy, national language, and the position of Islam.”
Rafizi urged supporters to understand that the Malay leaders and members of PH will expose and challenge their counterparts in Umno, PAS, and Bersatu on these matters, and could do so openly without exposing PH to misleading counterattacks.
He acknowledged that his remarks today would not be universally welcome in PH, but insisted that he needed to say this as a Malay son from a village in Terengganu.
“I emphathise with the sensitivities of these Malay voters,” he said.
“Let us maintain harmony and mutual respect in our multiracial nation. Together, we can end the racial elements propagated by Umno, PAS, and Bersatu.”

It is my hope DAP non Malay MPs should by now learn the bitter lessons and stop ridiculing the other communities with statement like Sarawak will go bankrupt within three year under GPS or boastful statement that if the Pakatan Harapan coalition took power in the upcoming Malaysian general election, Malaysians would no longer go to Singapore to work. Instead, Singaporeans would go to Malaysia for work

DAP non Malay MPs should talk less and work hard in building bridge of friendship and brotherhood to connect all the people from North to South and West to East rather than ridicule and insulting people's intelligent. They should help in overcoming the nine challenges of Vision 2020 in which Malaysians had failed to achieve.

2020 is the year when Malaysia was supposed to attain developed nation status as outlined by Vision 2020, which was launched in 1991 by PM Dr. Mahathir to replace the New Economic Policy (NEP)

We failed from day one because the principles and the nine challenges of 2020 were never fully understood by the leaders who championed them, by people in authority entrusted to implement them and by Malaysians in general who supposed to take on these 9 challenges fearlessly and wholeheartedly.

The nine challenges of Vision 2020; among them fostering a united country, a liberal and democratic society, a moral and ethical society, a scientific and progressive society, an economically just society and a society with a liberated spirit.
To modernize and develop our country based on its own model and develop the nation economically, politically, socially, spiritually, psychologically and culturally.  In achieving those goals, nine challenges have been listed

1) Establish a united Malaysian nation with a sense of common and shared destiny. This must be a nation in peace with itself, territorially and ethnically integrated, living in harmony and full and fair partnership, made up of one Malaysian race with political loyalty and dedication towards the nation.
2) Creating a psychologically liberated, secure and developed Malaysian society with faith and confidence in itself, justifiably proud of what it is, of what is has accomplished, an robust enough to face all manner of adversity. This Malaysian society must be distinguished by the pursuit of excellence, fully aware of all its potentials, psychologically subservient to none, and respected by the people of other nations.
3) Fostering a mature, democratic society, practicing a form of consensual, community-oriented Malaysian democracy that can be a model for many developing countries.
4) Establish a fully moral and ethical society, whose citizens are strong in religious and spiritual values and imbued with the highest of ethical standards.
5) Establishing a mature, liberal and tolerant society in which Malaysians of all colors and creeds are free to practice and profess their customs, cultures and religious beliefs, and yet feel a sense of belonging to the nation.
6) Establishment of scientific and progressive society, a society that is innovative and forward-looking, one that is not only a consumer of technology but also a contributor to the scientific and technological civilization of the future.
7) Nurturing a fully caring society and a caring culture, a social system in which society will come before self, in which the welfare of the people will revolve not around the state or the individual but around strong and resilient family system.
8) Ensuring an economically just society in which there is a full partnership in economic progress. Such a society cannot be in place so long as there is the identification of economic backwardness with race.
9) Establishing a prosperous society, with an economy that is fully competitive, dynamic, robust and resilient

Thank you

PS: Let politicians’ screams for your vote. We the silent majority will vote according to our conscious and what is best for Malaysia and our next generation. So please vote with care.

The story of a lion, a tiger and a donkey:
The donkey told the tiger, “The grass is blue.”
The tiger replied, “No, the grass is green.”
The discussion became heated and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration. So they approach the judge lion. As they approached the lion on his throne:
The donkey started screaming, “Your highness isn’t it true that the grass is blue?”
The lion replied, “If you believe it is true then the grass is blue.”
The donkey rushed forward and continued, “The tiger disagreed with me, contradict me, annoyed me. Please punish him!”
The Lion then declared, “The tiger will be punished. Three days of silence.”
The donkey jumped with joy and went on its way content and repeating, “The grass is blue. The grass is blue.”
Well in private, the tiger asked the lion, “Your majesty, why have you punished me? After all the grass is green”
The lion replied, “You know the grass is green”
The tiger asked, “Then why do you punish me?”
The lion replied, “That has nothing to do with the question of whether grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is degrading for a brave and intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with an ass and on top of that you came and bother me with that question just to validate something you already knew was true. You see the biggest waste of time is arguing with a fool and fanatic who doesn’t care about truth or reality but only the victory of his or her believes or illusions. Never waste time on discussion that makes no sense, that there are people who for all the evidences presented to them do not have the ability to understand. Not that they won’t understand they just wanna to argue. Others who are blinded by ego or hatred and resentment, the only things that they want is to be right even if they aren’t. The saying goes, when the ignorant screams intelligence moves on.”

Answer : Exactly! If only LGE has been nice and result oriented, Harapan administration would not have fallen! If LGE kept his promise to rebuild Sarawak schools once Sarawak paid their debts, GPS would have work with Harapan to form alliance! At last GPS form allaince with Bersatu Umno Pas!
Post GE15, Harapan once again need GPS to form government! So tone down that chinese are victimize mantra! Keep race and religion out of politics! Always focus on all malaysians regardless of race and religion!

And please! Don't replay that dumbass 1 trillion debt! Look at current 3Q GDP of 14%! That's the best GDP in Asean this quarter! How come a bloated all malay government can achieve such fantastic result! Mind you, even our reserve increase alot despite fallen ringgit!
If Harapan continues to play rhetoric, eventually nobody will vote for Harapan ever again!

Anyway SsLee! Thank you for mind refreshing article! We have been in race and religion mindless game for decades!
And our lawmakers especially Harapan leaders totally forgot what makes rakyat happy! They say money can make a sad beggar scream in happiness! While a spoil brat millionaire kids may say money is not everything, that's because they have abuse their money for mindless pleasure or ego boost spending!
Back in the 80s and 90s, rakyat were at the height of happiness! Why, because the economy was thriving! Everybody were proud to be malaysian! Malaysia Boleh was mantra of the day!
So it's economy that makes the world go round! Not race! Not religion!
We were once proud of been harmonious multiracial society, because we didn't even bother about race and religion! A note to all politicians!
The bottom line is, economy! Those who can perform, show 14% GDP figure are the ones we need! Not some fake holymen scream Islam constantly! Or the tokongs who claim to be victimize by other races!

Anwar preparing PH for worst lost ever recorded. Many PH seat in danger for huge lost due to many factor including voters dont want to vote for them, PH own people run away from voting PH, all ethnic background dont trust PH and the worst are Malay abandoned PH and going to vote for PN, multi conner fight which cause PH vote reduce significantly same like what happen in Johor, Young voters from other race like Malay and Indian are now voting for PN or BN, surprisingly many undi18 are going for stable government and supporting BN moto, many PH current area destroyed by continuous Flood including Shah Alam, Klang, Sungai Buloh, batu kawan, Kapar, kulim, alor star, ayer keroh and many area in klang valley, rafizi have shift his attack from BN to PN as he know PN is eating PH Malay vote bank and Anwar making it worst by stating army or government agency take bribe before voting which cause many army personnel angry and this is actually part of Anwar strategy for excuses of why PH lost GE15. Anwar preparing PH for the lost in GE15.

if PH wins the GE15, shocking

2022-11-13 00:26

izoklse2022

The ingredient for them to win is not there i.e Malay votes, overseas people vote, Undi Post which now will be gone because Anwar cari pasal with Army, PH own people not coming out for vote like what happen in GE14, Chinese vote are now shifting towards BN even in small percentage but it still give impact, Indian vote are huge shifting towards BN maybe because BN got a lot of Indian party and friendly party like makkal sakti, ipf, Hindraf, even Kima (Indian Muslim) and young voters which make up 70% are Malay which not necessarily will give vote to PH and There is an increase of 2% - 5% of Malay voters and reduction of 2% - 5% Chinese voters in every constituencies in GE15 compared to GE14.

2022-11-13 01:18

izoklse2022

That is why you see even DAP putting a lot of Malay face this GE15 because they know Malay votes are very crucial this GE and they have to find the way to clean up DAP image in front of Malay voters by putting Malay candidate. However, Malay not buying it this time because they already feel what going to be happen if PH rule and they experience it 22 Month under PH. It is a nightmare. Thank God PH collapse.

Agree Anwar made a huge blunder with his 'proof' that army already cast their votes! It's really damaging indeed! Anwar should have realise not to single out the army which he did!

Tobby,
Flood mitigation project are under Federal budget. The way Federal government awarding a RM2 billion project through direct negotiations to Mangkubumi Sdn Bhd, which is said to be owned by a person with links to the Umno leadership.

So do you think a direct negotiation without open tender to Mangkubumi Sdn Berhad 2 billion project will solved the flood problems or someone will necome richer and 2 billion of tax money go into the drain?

Approval for RM2b flood mitigation project in accordance with regulations, says Zafrul

By Bernama | 2022-11-12 21:55:40
KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 12): Caretaker Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz on Saturday (Nov 12) said that procurement related to the alleged approval of a flood mitigation project made after the dissolution of Parliament had been made in accordance with existing regulations.

PKR deputy president Mohd Rafizi Ramli earlier claimed that the Ministry of Environment and Water was in the process of awarding a RM2 billion project through direct negotiations to Mangkubumi Sdn Bhd, which is said to be owned by a person with links to the Umno leadership.

The company is also said to have obtained the approval from Tengku Zafrul via a letter dated Oct 7, the day of the tabling of Budget 2023 in Parliament.

In a tweet on Saturday, Tengku Zafrul issued a challenge to Rafizi to lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) if there is evidence of violations, as well as present evidence, and not wait after the 15th general election (GE15) to take action.

PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli today revealed that he had received insider information about a RM2 billion project that was purportedly in the process of being awarded by caretaker environment and water minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

The project, which is said to be for the planning of phase two for a flood barrier at Sungai Langat, was the second one awarded to the same company in the past six months, Rafizi said during a press conference at PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

“Extensive research into the owner of said company has shown that he is a figure who is very close to Umno and has received continuous profit from government projects,” he alleged.

He claimed that the company has not filed audited financial statements because it has chosen the status of an exempt company, something which he said was done only by small companies and not those that receive government projects worth billions.

“It has faced two bankruptcy petitions in court for not paying contractors according to Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) records and the company owes around RM144 million to financial institutions according to SSM records,” he alleged.
The company in question had previously been the recipient of large projects from the government, he said, most notably one in Papan in 2016.

“It is a worrying company, and if you look at it, it has all the problematic traits,” he said.

Sslee stop talking about corruption la. PH have no right to talk about corruption. PH itself got MP implicated with corruption case like LGE until today we cant see the tunnel being build. I think after this election, if BN or PN win, another case will appear i.e Taman Manggis issue in Penang will surface. When people ask in their ceramah about this they cannot answer and they give all sort of excuses. Now rafizi have to explain about his 2.5 Mil now become huge issue and everybody talking about it. Even Muda Syed Sadik also implicated in corruption charges. I believe after this GE if BN or PN win they will open more cases that PH drop in 22 Month PH when PH rule the country. Many PH guys will be line up for corruption case and charges.

Touching on Apandi's press conference on Jan 26, 2016, where the former attorney-general accepted the donation narrative and absolved Najib, Justice Azimah pointed out that Apandi seemed to have contradicted himself when cross-examined by Lim's lawyers.

She said that it was well known in the public domain that the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) and other task forces had recommended criminal charges or at least in-depth investigation into the “fantastical donation” and the SRC International Sdn Bhd monies.

Apandi had said that the MACC itself had met and recorded statements from the donors, she noted.

However, Justice Azimah noticed that when cross-examined over the press statement in which Apandi brazenly announced that a delegation had flown to Riyadh and personally met the alleged donor himself, the former attorney-general seemed to have contradicted and admitted that the delegation did not meet nor speak to the donor.

This was evident in Apandi's testimony when he testified that the "Saudi Prince refused to meet anybody”.

‘It was a total contradiction’
This, Justice Azimah noted, is one of the grounds that Lim had suggested that Apandi should be investigated for absolving Najib and covering up the scandal in 2015.

“The contradiction is not merely an error but instead a total contradiction. It is indeed suspicious and reasonable to ponder the necessity to be deceptive about the critical proof of the alleged donation by the Saudi royal family.

“Why would the AG bend the truth about the meeting and recording [of] the statement by the alleged donor? Why would the AG declare to the world that the delegation met the donor (and obtained confirmation from the donor), while it was well within his knowledge that his delegation did not even speak or meet with the fabled donor,” she asked.

“The court is utterly confounded by the plaintiff's testimony admitting to adopting the donation narrative as a whole, although in gross absence of direct evidence and in preference to the delegation's hearsay evidence. It is right there that Apandi's own testimony exhibited a plain, disinterested, evasive and disassociated attitude to investigate the donation further,” she said.

My vote still go to PH just like what the below author conclusion.

Malaysia is a small pie and for far too long too many grasping politicians have been cutting it up to get a slice of the action to enrich themselves or to lust for more power only to use it to abuse their power.

This political misbehaviour has been made possible because there was no strong challenge from the opposition parties before 2018.

Now, with PH around, there is hope that the 2022 general election can produce a lasting coalition government that can save the country from the further depredations of rapacious politicians. – Nov 12, 2022
