ANNOUNCEMENT Subject: Bintai Kinden Corporation Berhad (“BINTAI” or “Company”) Arbitration __________________________________________________________________________________

The Board of Directors wishes to announce that following the hearing held today on the Arbitration between Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd (“KBK”) (a wholly owned subsidiary of BINTAI”) and Serdang Baru Properties Sdn Bhd (“SBP”), the Court has ordered SBP to pay the following in favour of KBK:- (a) A total sum of RM28,220,284.44 together with a simple interest rate of 5% per annum from 3 June 2008 up to 9 March 2016; and (b) Costs for a sum of RM20,000.00. This announcement is dated 8 December 2016.

Now with the latest confirmation of winning court case amt RM28millions + interest, Bintai NTA & share price expected to adjust back higher in its coming financial qtr result in Feb 2017. 

In 2015 feb-Mac, Bintai share 0.22 went up to 0.35, RM6.04million net profit reported in its financial qtr result and later in May 2015, its price from 0.21 shot up till 0.45 in just one day because of its financial result return back to strong profit total of RM9.8million. 
Its price later consolidated down to 0.32 lvl. 

Bintai share price should be much more higher with its adjusted NTA and fair value. 

Receiveabe from winning court case RM28million + 5% interest for 7.5 yrs (interest rate of 5% per annum from 3 June 2008 up to 9 March 2016) 
total abt RM38.5million. 

Bintai total no. of shares 214.59million 

The receivables translated to Bintai share price is additional gain abt 0.179.

Bintai latest financial qtr result NTA is 0.28. Its nta if include the latest receiveable will be abt 0.45. 

Strong buying at 0.22 during closing time after 4pm. With abt rm441million project secured this yr + receivable cash from winning court case abt rm38.5million, Bintai share price should much more higher than 0.30. Bintai highest price last year 0.45 and this year highest 0.375.

民泰近电竞标20亿工程
放眼得标率30%

卡玛鲁扎曼沙利夫：民泰近电考虑进军泰国市场。

（吉隆坡8日讯）民泰近电（BINTAI，6998，主板贸服股）透露，目前正在竞标总值20亿令吉的工程，寄望可获得其中的20至30%，以支撑未来业绩展望。

民泰近电独立非执行主席丹斯里卡玛鲁扎曼沙利夫，今天在股东常年大会后，向本报记者发表谈话。

“我们正在竞标的工程，70%来自大马和新加坡，其余30%则分布在越南、柬埔寨、印尼和缅甸。未来，我们也会考虑进军泰国市场。”

他说，该集团未来继续专注在东南亚市场。

民泰近电的主要业务，是提供专业电机工程服务，该公司早前曾经进军阿布达比，但不是很成功。

“公司继续扩展业务，那里经济有增长，就表示那里有业务机会。东南亚国家的经济，比起其他国家算是好的。”

他也说，越南之前的市况不理想，不过现在已经恢复。

“至于缅甸，如今有了新政府，他们需要新的建筑物如酒店等。印尼也有捷运项目，大马与新加坡的隆新高铁计划，这都意味着东南亚经济正蓬勃发展。”

他说，只要有建筑物，就需要机械与设备（M&E）项目。

手握10亿订单

目前，民泰近电手握总价值10亿令吉订单，5亿令吉来自大马，新加坡订单则有3亿新元（约9亿269万令吉）。

针对该集团2016财年全年净亏3608万令吉，卡玛鲁扎曼沙利夫表示，那是因为拨备所导致，归咎于客户拖欠付款。

他说：“我们会寻求法律途径，讨回我们应得的部分。”

至于何时才能讨回款项，则取决于法律诉讼的程序。

“公司的坏账已经很少了，相信以后会更少。我相信债务是收得回的。”
