Car thefts and terrorist acts using vehicles are among the vehicle security issues that we currently face. But as we transition toward connected cars and autonomous vehicles, we need to anticipate new security problems - it sounds all too likely that a hacker could drive a targeted individual's autonomous car into a fatal crash.
