14-Mar-18 08:05
Johan Ishak just took on the hot driving seat at Media Prima Television Networks five months ago at very challenging time for the business. The TV business just fell into the red in FY2017 registering losses to the tune of RM113 million.
What happened there? And what are his plans to turnaround this business in a challenging operating landscape? Johan shares his journey so far and his plans to bring the business back to a profit position by 2019. Among his strategies include intensifying their digital efforts, diversifying further into TV shopping as well as to provide content to the "modern Malaysian". But do modern Malaysians watch TV?

Urban cjty Youngster knowsaday...
Too tired to wacth tv, its only during their childhood thing maybe.
Hari siang bawa Uber malam jual burger, else bayar hutang saving no more.
Family hardly go for cinema... too costly for an average income family.
WHAT TO DO corruption are everywhere, Rm in dip sh*t, salary hardly increase.
Eventhough enterprise also find its hard to run a biz as gst and rental has been the significant cost made.
Thailand maybe a better place .... u may ask the youngster there how much is their saving after paid off.
The consumers spending over there still at comfortably level.
Only those minister sing their own song by ignoring the City Peopples.

Everytime i grab a cab from the GRABS or UBER operator, pretty much i will run a same question from them... the answere surprisingly almost the same.
But, what made them keep alive is their believing and the family.
This is the basic or core value must be implants during a youngster start fighting for his journey.
A quality leadership need more than that....

Deep down in mind, i salute the operators for fighthing to their own life.
Without them Ubrr & Grabs are just fly without its wings.
Hope thise minister shoukd really take an Uber & Grabs and start learn from these warriors. But, dont tell them to beutifying the facts if currently condition of the city. Beutifying words are for the fool only.
