The local Malaysian market seem to be faring better than expected after the surprise GE14 results.

Is the surprising stock market reaction based on economic fundamentals?

Arup believes the economy will growth 5.2% to 5.3% this year.

He also says that the removal of GST will boost confidence and consumption.
