0:09 - Following from Nomura’s downgrade of Malaysian stocks yesterday, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has come out to dismiss their report - saying that the government is confident in achieving their targets for 2018 and 2019. We take a look into these numbers.

04:05 - Great Eastern has pledged a minimum RM 2 billion contribution to a health scheme for the B40 group and is subsequently exempted from BNM’s ruling on 30% local ownership of insurance companies in Malaysia. We look into the background of this ruling and also the scheme in question.

05:43 - MIDF and Al-Rajhi are beginning their potential merger discussions after Bank Negara gave their go-ahead to MIDF & shareholder Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB).
