According to Minister for Economic Affairs Dato’ Sri Azmin Ali the government announced that they would formulate a new economic policy to address Bumiputera concerns. The ministry will begin discussion and engagement with key stakeholders in Malaysia’s economic sectors.

We speak to Dr Terence Gomez, Professor of Political Economy at Universiti Malaya to weigh in on the bumiputera policy.
