Mark Hamill announced that he quit Facebook to protest its decision to allow political ads containing false statements or misinformation. Tony Fernandez recently deleted Twitter to escape the anger and negaitivity. With both saying they're better off, we look at the efficacy of deleting social media as a form of protest and whether everyone should rethink their relationship with social media.

Social media is addictive. 95% of it's content is toxic. Too many with bad attitude and manners. Some with subversive intent are misusing social media to share their venomous propaganda especially from political, religious and racial groups.

Thank god I do not subscribe to Facebook, Twitter or any social platforms. Life is peaceful.
