US's Debt has Surged to Usd33 Trillions in real time now.
At 7% Interest rate the interest repayment alone will be over USD2 Billions alone
And since USA is suffering trade deficit all these years and more it might take many decades or even centuries to clear its profligate wanton ways
It will until "confidence" breaks some day when the collective consensus of enough nations shift and refuse to participate in this game of greater fool anymore
Then the mighty US will go the way of Geneva Gold, Bernie Madoff or other Ponzi schemes
Madoff was once a money wizard but now called "The Monster of Wall Street" after Usd64 Billions total lost for many (Hsbc bank alone lost Usd1 Billion in Madoff)
One day the world might also wake up to see this mighty US Dollar turns into A Greater Monster in the World' Biggest Fiat/Fake Currency system
For now and the foreseeable future we cannot hold cash as it will be at the mercy of this continual erosion of paper currency value
High inflation and then stagflation will destroy and smother all if we just do nothing and leave money in the bank like an ostrich with head buried in the sand. While value is diluted and inflated away
That is why we need protect value by investing in real hard assets which cannot be created out of thin air like printing money
Hard assets like gold, silver, lands, houses, real estate, farm lands, shares of good companies and esp palm oil shares are now safe havens
