Malaysia won its first ever esports medal at the 19th Asian Games with the Arena of Valour team taking home the silver medal after losing to China in the finals. We discuss the significance of this achievement, particularly when it comes to bringing recognition to esports, and having it taken more seriouly as a competitive sport.
