A post on X has called on Malaysians to stop normalising RM20 meals as cheap and cheerful. User AqilahAshaari argued that the average Singaporean earning SGD4,000 a month only paid SGD10 for their meals. This raised the question on whether Malaysia's food prices have become more costly compared to before.
