5. Environmental NGO RimbaWatch has raised the alarm on sales listings of forest land in Sabah and Sarawak amounting to 85,000 hectares on Mudah.my and Facebook Marketplace. Adam Farhan, the Director & Co-Founder of RimbaWatch talks about the potential environmental impact of these listings, and what can be done to prevent the unlawful sale of forest lands.

2. Aeon has signed its first collective agreement with its workers' union to cover the welfare of 10,000 employees in the retail and supermarket chain. Human Resources Minister Steven Sim noted this to be a pioneering move, since only a tiny minority of the Malaysian workface is represented by unions.
