The Edge Weekly reported that more parties are interested to take up the stake that will be divested by Khazanah. The interested parties are EPF, PNB, DHL, Tune Group, Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar, Aberdeen Asset Management, TNT NV 8, Nationwide and Konsortium Logistik. Khazanah managing director Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar told the weekly that the buyer of its 32% stake would be determined by a transparent bidding process. Khazanah's criterion for a potential buyer is one with the right strategic fit and entrepreneurial spirit in view of the global trend of postal services transformation. According to sources, Khazanah has asked the interested parties to submit their proposals to Khazanah for consideration on which party is deemed suitable for its divestment. Based on last Friday?s close of RM2.86, Khazanah's stake in Pos Malaysia would be worth as much as RM494m.
