ZECON BHD has accepted a work order worth RM22.979 million from Punj Lloyd Oil and Gas (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the Sabah-Sarawak Gas Pipeline project.

The works include civil and structural, mechanical and electrical as well as architectural including supplies for buildings at Bintulu Compressor Station, Bintulu, Sarawak, Zecon said in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia.

The project is not expected to have any material effect on the earning, net assets, share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of Zecon for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2010. -- BERNAMA
