It seems that nowadays there are endless distressed companies coming out without warnings from the authorities.
Carotech is the latest on the list. What is the use of having quarterly reports when the authorities are not diligent enough to issue warnings to small time investors who get burnt each time such companies goes into distress.
Please note that not all investors are accounting savvy and are able to dissect such info from the quarterly statements.
I feel that the authorities should be mindful of the effects of such companies tarnishing the image of the country as a place for foreign investors.
