Cycle and Carriage Bintang Bhd (CCB) has recorded a pre-tax profit of RM12.433 million for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2010, up from RM9.919 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenue rose to RM156.031 million from RM124.160 million previously, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
For the nine-month period, CCB posted a pre-tax profit of RM28.283 million, an increase from RM29.915 million in the same period last year, while revenue rose to RM463.701 million from RM363.286 million previously.
The company said that sales of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars rose 26 per cent, gaining from the improved market conditions and strong demand for the new E-Class model. -- Bernama
