Faber Group Bhd has recorded a higher pre-tax profit of RM109.952 million for its first nine months ended Sept 30, 2010, compared to RM74.592 million in the same period last year.
Revenue rose to RM684.897 million from RM509.219 million previously, the group said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
Faber, which has businesses in integrated facilities management (ILM) and hospital support service, said ILM contributed mainly to the higher revenue.
Its property division, however, recorded a negative variance of RM41 million, said the group.
On prospects for the current financial year, Faber said it expects to maintain its performance in the next quarter and the property division to improve its contribution from the proposed new projects launched in the final quarter of the year. -- Bernama
