KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 14): Sarawak-based engineered solutions provider Pansar Bhd has bagged a RM130 million contract from Borneo Development Corp (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (BDC) to construct an infectious disease centre at Muara Tuang Land in Sg Jernang, Samarahan, Sarawak.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday, Pansar said its wholly owned subsidiary Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd has signed a letter of acceptance from BDC for the tender of the proposed Sarawak infectious disease centre (package 1). The work period is for 30 months.

“We will commence the project once notified by BDC,” it added.

Pansar said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets as the project progresses during the contract period.

Pansar’s counter closed one sen or 1.56% higher at 65 sen on Wednesday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM305.30 billion. A total of 795,800 shares were traded. Its share price has fallen 4.41% so far this year.
