Dataprep Holdings Bhd by NEOJAPAN Inc unit Neoreka Asia Sdn Bhd as strategic partners in ICT, including as an authorised reseller of web-based groupware platform DESKNET’s NEO.

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 10): IT products and services company Dataprep Holdings Bhd (KL:DATAPRP) is collaborating with Neoreka Asia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of NEOJAPAN Inc, a Tokyo-listed firm, as strategic partners in information and communications technology (ICT).

According to Dataprep’s bourse filing, the collaboration includes the appointment of Dataprep as an authorised reseller of DESKNET’s NEO, a web-based groupware platform designed to serve as the information sharing foundation for enterprises.

NEOJAPAN Inc is a leading solution provider in Japan, trusted by over 10,000 companies and over five million users, the bourse filing showed.

The collaboration shall be effective for three years, starting Sept 10, 2024.

The memorandum of collaboration is not expected to have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of Dataprep. It is also not expected to have a material impact on the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024.

Dataprep’s share price closed down half a sen or 2.8% to 17.5 sen, bringing the group a market capitalization of RM132 million.
